With the intention to aid travelers to access information on every DH&R property within one click of the home page, Destination Hotels & Resorts (DH&R), which manages 26 independent, luxury hotels and resorts nationwide, has joined forces with IBM to design and build a newly launched website (destinationhotels.com).
The site was created with three main goals in mind: to recognize DH&R's most valuable guests, to showcase the breadth and quality of the DH&R portfolio, and to provide one of the easiest Web booking capabilities in the industry. DH&R officials said that investment in the new website not only reflects the travel company's commitment to customer service but recognizes DH&R's financial commitment to its e-business strategy as an effort to capture a significant share of the six billion dollars worth of travel-related business transacted on the Internet.
