Driven by robust growth in travel bookings within each of the travel distribution channels, as well as a return to positive year over year revenue growth in the outsourcing and software solutions business, Sabre<.> Holdings Corporation said recently that its revenues for the fourth quarter of 2000 were US $643.4 million, an increase of 19.0 percent compared to revenues for the fourth quarter of 1999. Revenues for the full year ended December 31, 2000 were aid to have reached some US $2.6 billion, an increase of 7.5 percent over 1999.



The company also said that revenues from the travel marketing and distribution group, which include Travelocity.com as well as GetThere, grew 26.2 percent over fourth quarter 1999 primarily due to strong growth in travel bookings and strength in Sabre's online travel companies. Also, revenues from the outsourcing and software solutions business increased 7.4 percent as compared to the fourth quarter of 1999 as a result of growth in the company's outsourcing business and the reservations application business.
