At its recent congress in Budapest, The European Tourism Trade Fairs Association (ETTFA) elected Stanislava Blagoeva as President of the Association. Ms Blagoeva is Director of ITE Travel Exhibitions, organiser of two ETTFA member shows: MITT Moscow and UITT Kiev. Ms Blagoeva was also elected as Treasurer of the ETTFA for a second term.
When asked what she intended to achieve during her presidency, Ms Blagoeva said, In recent years the ETTFA has begun to realise its objectives of forging the strongest relationships between top-level travel trade show organisers across Europe. Increasingly our members are able to maximise the tremendous opportunities of shared experience which ultimately benefits the travel industry as a whole.
She added, We`ve increased our membership base to include all the major travel trade shows across Europe. We`ve gotten there through innovation, vigilance and co-operation across borders – and that`s how we intend to go on. There are many opportunities to embrace in the coming year and I am enthusiastic to explore them on behalf of ETTFA.
