The National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents (NACTA), has launched a new platform of chapter events called “NACTA Nights.” Designed to motivate, inspire and educate home based travel professionals, NACTA Nights will deliver a supplier presentation, guest motivational speakers, and networking amongst local home based travel agents.
“Our goal is to bring our members and all other home based travel professionals new and exciting events across the country,” said Joanie Ogg, NACTA President. “These events will also be part of the development of new local NACTA chapters across the country. Our members will benefit at these events in so many ways. We want all home based travel professionals to get a taste of what NACTA is all about and become part of the family,” said Alleigh Grieder, Director of Sales and Marketing for NACTA.
Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruise Lines will be sponsoring the first 14 events April through June. These initial NACTA Nights will follow CLIA trainings that RCCL currently has planned. “In the spirit of partnership with our home based travel partners, and our continued commitment to provide innovative and quality regional learning opportunities, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises are thrilled to be a part of NACTA Nights, a new and engaging event you don`t want to miss. By joining NACTA you will find that membership has its` privileges, this is just the first of many exciting things to come,” said Cris DeSouza, Home Based Channel Manager for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises.
The schedule to date is April 25 – Burbank; April 27 – Santa Monica; May 2 – Las Vegas; May 9 – Sarasota; May 9 – San Jose; May 11 – Ft. Myers; May 23 – Memphis; June 6 – Baltimore; June 6 – Eugene; June 8 – Arlington; June 13 – Kansas City; June 15 – St. Louis; June 27 – Uniondale; June 29 – Bellevue.
