The AVIAREPS office in New York continues growing by winning Elysair as new client for the US market. Elysair, which will be branded under the airline name L’Avion, has entrusted the selling and marketing to AVIAREPS Airline Management, who thus becomes General Sales Agent in the USA for the French carrier.



L’Avion is a new low-cost, low fare airline that has entered the transatlantic market with an all-business class service. The carrier started its first flight from Paris/Orly to New York/Newark on the 3rd January 2007. The French carrier is planning to offer this new connection with six flights a week operated with a Boeing B757-200.



Fraser Teasdale, General Manager AVIAREPS USA comments on the new client: “L’Avion is a very important client for us and there is a lot of investment being ploughed into this new venture, so we have a lot of responsibility to ensure that this is a successful new service. We will be targeting the small to medium sized corporate companies in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and even Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Also the fashion and media industry is on our hit list of potential new customers for L’Avion.”



Elysair, alias L’Avion, was founded in 2002 as a low-cost, but all-business class carrier and operates with a single leased Boeing 757-200.
