New season "summer" flights on sale now through to 31 March 2012

Tiger Airways flies ahead

Tiger Airways Australia’s new season schedule featuring tens of thousands of low fare seats for domestic travel around Australia is on sale now for travel through to 31 March 2012.

The schedule has up to five daily return flights on the popular Melbourne – Sydney route, two daily return services between Melbourne and Brisbane and a daily return service on the Melbourne – Gold Coast and Melbourne – Perth routes.

Tiger Airways Head of Marketing and Communications, Vanessa Regan, says that the airline typically has two main flight schedule seasons (summer and winter) and that the new Australian summer schedule runs from 30 October 2011 through to 31 March 2012.

“The secret to securing the lowest fares with Tiger Airways is to plan ahead, book early and snap up the best fares before someone else does. With the summer holiday period just around the corner, it’s a good idea to jump online as soon as possible to grab a bargain.

“Tiger Airways is resuming services around Australia gradually, focusing on the popular routes which enable the airline to focus on enhanced reliability. Since we’ve been back in the air (12 August 2011) we’re thrilled with strong demand for our low fares and also to have had over 95% on time performance for all arrivals and departures,” she says.

Tiger Airways is earmarking a return to other key locations around Australia in the next phase of development, which will be announced in due course.
