Defined as one of Europe’s largest and most state of the art Conference Centres, the new Rimini Palacongressi is set to open its doors, with a programme in full swing from mid-September. Events catered for in its first month will include the Alcoholics Anonymous National Congress (16-18/09/2011), SIOT Medical Congress – Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (1-5/10/2011), the XL National AMCLI Congress – Italian Association for Clinical Microbiology (8-11/11) and the Biennial International Convention Centro Studi Erickson “The quality of educational and social integration” (18-20/11/2011).
The inauguration will take place over the weekend of October 15-16th, marked by great celebrations in the city. Saturday will be dedicated to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony in the presence of city officials and guests, including Minister of Tourism, Michela Vittoria Brambilla, and President of the Emilia Romagna Region, Vasco Errani.
Sunday will be an “open day” with guided tours and events for all. A more detailed programme will be posted shortly.
