Luxe Belizean resort announces significant upgrades to K’In Spa & Wellness Center and the debut of all-new Sea Grape Hall Event Center, celebrating resort’s third anniversary.

AMBERGRIS CAYE, BELIZE – Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection, the upscale resort located on the island of Ambergris Caye in San Pedro Town, Belize, unveils a significant renovation and expansion to its signature K’In Spa & Wellness Center, and unveils the all-new Sea Grape Hall Conference Center in celebration of its third anniversary on May 6th.

Alaia Belize spans over 20 acres, with 155 guestrooms and suites, and operates as the first true four diamond luxury resort on Ambergris Caye. Nestled amidst the serene backdrop of the Belizean coast, guests are invited to touch, stay and feel connected to Mother Nature throughout their stay experience. K’In Spa & Wellness Center’s expansion provides a rejuvenating space for guests to unwind, re-energize and indulge in a tailored spa experience, while the opening of Sea Grape Hall is poised to set a new standard for seamless gatherings that blend local Belizean style with tech-enabled conveniences.

“Alaia Belize is thrilled to expand our resort offerings with new, elevated amenities for our leisure, business and group guests alike, especially as we welcome the resort’s third anniversary,” notes General Manager Scott McArdle. “The Alaia Belize resort experience is at the cross section where luxury meets nature, whether it be in our spa during a full day spa experience or in Sea Grape Hall during an executive retreat, conference or destination wedding.”

The 2,070-square-foot K’In Spa & Wellness Center includes three new treatment rooms, a sauna, a boutique and an expanded fitness center featuring state-of-the-art weightlifting equipment. The refreshed design aesthetic evokes tranquility with light, earthen tones, as well as new marble surfaces, porcelain fixtures and plush, comfortable furnishings throughout.

Six treatment rooms, single and couple capable, deliver the utmost in relaxation with a menu of Belizean-inspired treatments that range from massages, body wraps, facials, nail services and waxing. Signature treatments influenced by the surrounding Caribbean Sea include the Seabreeze Massage, a gentle massage designed to unwind and de-stress with wave-like Belizean techniques to encourage blood circulation, and the Ocean Therapy Body Wrap, a body cocoon treatment featuring seaweed for skin regeneration, firmness and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles with a relaxing scalp, neck, and shoulder massage. The spa boutique sells products utilized throughout K’In Spa treatments as well as local handmade crafts and artisan goods including Hello Body Belize Skincare, Mekari Studio handmade clay accessories and Phytomer facial products.

Connecting guests with modern conference capabilities is the newly constructed Sea Grape Hall Event Center. Suitable for hosting both intimate and large gatherings, the 3,100-square-foot venue can accommodate meetings and conferences, as well as weddings and social events up to 200 people. Sea Grape Hall will complement the resorts ample outdoor meeting and event space including Vista Rooftop Lounge, Belize’s only rooftop suspended pool and lounge with 360-degree views. On-site event planners and Alaia’s own on-property destination marketing company, Destination Services by Alaia Belize, delivers exceptional event coordination services.

The resort experience will continue to be enhanced following the construction of a new sea wall slated to be unveiled in winter 2024. The sea wall will create an expanded pristine beach with 1,000 feet of ocean frontage.
