Zleep Hotels makes a comeback in Aalborg.
Previously, the Zleep brand operated a hotel in the city from 2007 to 2011, and it has long been on the hotel chain’s wish list to return. The comeback to North Jutland ensures that Zleep Hotels is much better represented in Denmark.
CEO and Founder of Zleep Hotels, Peter Haaber, explains: “We have looked at countless opportunities to return since we left our smaller hotel in Aalborg in 2011. We have now found a great match, which offers both a perfect location in central Aalborg by the Central station as well as good infrastructure,” says Peter Haaber, who is from Aalborg himself.
The central location on the corner of Aalborg train station ensures a favorable placement for the tourists and business travelers of the city. The hotel is situated in walking distance from shopping, Aalborg Congress & Culture Center, the House of Music, Nordkraft and everything else in central Aalborg.
Peter Haaber explains that the activity levels in Aalborg are growing, meaning there is room for further capacity in the city. The addition of the hotel in Aalborg in Zleep Hotels’ portfolio will especially be beneficial to the hotel chain’s corporate customers, who will be given a wider selection of destinations.
“I’ve been closely following the exceptional business developments of Aalborg in previous years – and having spent most of my life in Aalborg myself, it is with great pleasure that we open a hotel in the city to be part of its continuing growth,” says Peter Haaber.
Zleep’s hotel project in Aalborg is developed in cooperation with A. Enggaard, who apart from the construction is also the owner of the building. The new hotel in Aalborg has great potential as the market has had positive growth through many years.
The construction of the new Zleep hotel begins in the 3rd quarter of 2017, and the hotel opens in 2019.
