Hilton expands Signia by Hilton portfolio with official signing of Signia by Hilton Indianapolis

Expected to open in late 2026, the 800‑room property will serve as the latest anchor hotel connecting to the Indiana Convention Center.

INDIANAPOLIS and MCLEAN, VA. – Global hospitality leader Hilton announced the official signing of a management agreement for the 800-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis, growing the existing Signia by Hilton portfolio. Currently under construction and expected to open in late 2026, the new-build Signia by Hilton Indianapolis will serve as the latest anchor hotel connecting to the Indiana Convention Center via skywalk as part of the city’s $710 million convention center expansion. Owned by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, a municipal corporation of Marion County, Indiana, the property will be developed by Kite Realty and managed by Hilton.

Located in one of the United States’ highly acclaimed convention cities, Signia by Hilton Indianapolis will be a destination unto itself, offering guests cosmopolitan amenities and exceptional services in a sophisticated setting. Once construction is completed, the 800-room 40-story Signia by Hilton Indianapolis will enhance the skyline as the tallest hotel in the city and will provide direct access to the convention center via a skywalk over Capitol Avenue.

Designed with a blend of sophistication and functionality for all types of gatherings, guests can expect an impressive sense of arrival and personalized service offered from check-in to check-out. Naturally lit and thoughtfully designed public spaces will serve as ideal locations for guests to meet, engage and socialize. The hotel’s 800 guest rooms will be steeped in superior design and elevated finishes that take inspiration from Indianapolis, while infusing innovative technology that matters most to guests, offering both comfort and convenience.

The hotel will offer approximately 90,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including a 50,000-square-foot ballroom. Each meeting space will have Signia by Hilton’s signature meeting experience, anchored by tailored, attentive service for meeting planners and their guests. Those attending Signia events will find smartly designed spaces outfitted with modern technologies to elevate and optimize work and collaboration, and creative programming for groups of all sizes.

Diners can look forward to seven distinct dining concepts, including a speakeasy bar, buzzing top-level sky bar reflective of Indianapolis’s locale, as well as a signature, chef-driven restaurant designed to offer both locals and guests an elevated gastronomic experience that diners will want to share with friends and business partners.

Inspired by private membership clubs, the hotel will also feature Club Signia, an intimate experience that provides discerning guests with the finest hospitality. Beginning prior to arrival and extending throughout their stay, guests receive the highest level of service and exclusivity by choosing Club Signia. With elevated room types and access to the Club Lounge, those experiencing Club Signia also indulge in special access to hotel events, programs, and opportunities to further customize their Signia experience, with the help of a dedicated Club Signia ambassador. Signia by Hilton offers additional high-end amenities that include a cutting-edge spa and fitness facility complete with state-of-the-art equipment, wellness programming designed with all types of travelers in mind and an expansive outdoor pool deck overlooking the city.

Once open, the hotel will participate in Hilton Honors, the award-winning guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s world-class brands.

One of Hilton’s newest brands, Signia by Hilton launched in 2019 and Signia by Hilton Indianapolis joins the brand portfolio which includes Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet CreekSignia by Hilton San Jose and the upcoming debut of Signia by Hilton Atlanta, expected to open in January 2024. Hilton’s multi-brand portfolio in Indianapolis includes nearly 50 hotels open and welcoming travelers, and a development pipeline of more than 10 hotels in various stages of design and construction.
