Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa, the first Hilton Worldwide Resort in China, was voted the “Best Spa Resort in China” at the inaugural TTG China Travel Awards 2009.
Mr. Jean-Pierre Mainardi, General Manager of Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa, said that the hotel is extremely honoured to be recognised by industry experts for their outstanding property, innovative food and beverage concepts and exceptional hospitality. “This award serves as a great motivation for us to continue offering our guests ‘A True Resort Experience with a Difference’ which has been our defining motto since the hotel opened in December 2005. Going forth, we definitely look forward to building on this success and enhancing the resort’s brand name both domestically and internationally,” he added.
The TTG China Travel Awards lauds travel trade organisations operating within China that have made excellent contributions to the industry. The Awards are determined by votes cast by readers of TTG China, TTG-BTmice China, TTG Asia and TTGmice, recognising the best in China’s travel and tourism industry from a trade perspective. Other than this latest award, Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa has also received other outstanding accolades such as ‘Best Resort in Asia’ by Travel Weekly Asia, ‘The Best Resort in China’ by Trends Travel magazine, ‘Top Ten Resorts in China’ by 21st Century Economic Herald, ‘Best of the Best Hotel’ by Gafencu Magazine and ‘Best Destination Spa’ at the Asia Spa & Wellness Festival Gold Awards 2009.
