FRANKFURT, Germany – Mr. Andre Guettouche, previously held the positions of Director and Vice President, has been promoted to Senior Vice-President Operations of pentahotels in the middle of the year. Started his career at pentahotels in 2006 as Conversion Manager, Mr. Guettouche has been with the brand since the beginning. For a decade, Mr. Guettouche has established himself as the accountable partner of Managing Director Mr. Alastair Thomann, as well as a leading figure within the company. Mr. Thomann confirms: "Andre has a deep understanding of the brand and has always been strongly committed to the ongoing developments of pentahotels' concept. His promotion to the role of Senior Vice-President Operations is a reward to the high level of dedication he has shown. To this end, development departments have already been set up in Asia to add direct impetus in the target markets. Mr. Guettouche outlines the company's strategy: "Alongside the purchase of our own properties, we will also rely on management/lease agreements and franchising as our growth models. We have shifted our focus on the Asia-Pacific region for a speedy expansion and diverse portfolio."

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
