The first forum that is expected to motivate the Dodecanese tourism industry frontward is going to be held on April 23-24, 2001 at the Rodes Palladium Hotel on the Greek island of Rhodes. The event is being held under the aegis of the Ministry of the Aegean as well as the Dodecanese Tourism Organization and the Rhodes Hoteliers Association. The symposium, entitled "Rhodes – The Dodecanese Exhibited in the Nations of Europe. – New Age – New Challenges" will focus on an increasing cooperation with the offices of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT) abroad in the framework of projecting the Dodecanese as a primary tourist destination.
