Norwegian Breakaway spends the summer months in the Baltic Sea.

WIESBADEN – Season opener: Norwegian Breakaway departed Copenhagen recently for her maiden voyage through the Baltic Sea. The ship, which was built at Meyer Werft in Germany in 2013, will visit Warnemunde/Rostock, Tallinn, St. Petersburg (overnight), Helsinki and Stockholm (Nynashamn) on 9-day cruises during the 2018 summer season. Norwegian Breakaway, which accommodates around 4,000 passengers, is one of five Norwegian Cruise Line ships cruising Europe this summer.

“We are very pleased to have a Breakaway-class ship in the Baltic Sea again this year. With Norwegian Breakaway we can offer our guests cruises to the most beautiful Baltic cities on one of the most modern ships in the world,” said Kevin Bubolz, Managing Director Europe, Norwegian Cruise Line.

Guests will find a wide variety of accommodations for every taste aboard Norwegian Breakaway, from studio staterooms for solo travellers to family staterooms for larger groups or the luxurious suites of The Haven by Norwegian®. In addition, Norwegian Cruise Line provides an excellent entertainment programme on the ship as well as the entire fleet. In the Spiegel Tent, for example, guests can experience aerialists, acrobats, and jugglers as part of the Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy dinner show or first-class dancers in the Burn the Floor dance show at the Breakaway Theater. There are also 27 dining options and 22 bars and lounges on board.

As on all ships of the fleet, guests enjoy Premium All Inclusive on Norwegian Breakaway. In addition to a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, speciality coffees in all restaurants during meals and service charges for all included services, the cruise fare now also includes 60 minutes of Internet per guest since February 2018. Guests staying at The Haven receive additional extras including, for example, $100 of on-board credit or dining packages at speciality restaurants, which otherwise require cover charges.
