Beewake is officially launching its operation in the U.S

The New York and Paris based startup is officially launching their service in New York City and in Paris. The mobile application is available for iOS and Android, and a merchant website will be available in the upcoming months.

NEW YORK – Beewake is an app which allows guests to book daytime spaces such as guest rooms or meeting rooms in hotels for an usage during the day in hotels for business passengers in transit, to relax or to simply to work is now officially launching in the U.S.

Co-founders Sebastien and Jeremie were childhood friends and even from a very young age, they were already talking business on the playground at school. Twenty years later, after working in different countries and industries, they created Beewake to meet a need that they experienced firsthand while traveling.

During a New York City trip, Sebastien and Jeremie were looking for a hotel where they could get refreshed, eat breakfast, and do some work before heading into the city for meetings. They could not find a place to suit their needs. And so, the idea for Beewake was conceived.

The New York and Paris based startup is officially launching their service in New York City and in Paris. The mobile application is available for iOS and Android, and a merchant website will be available in the upcoming months.

The founders, Sebastien Trouillet – CEO (ex. Dailymotion), Jeremie Catez – COO (ex. Accor) and Gabriel Munch-Andersen – CTO (ex. Dailymotion) have the goal of making all vacant spaces available for a usage during the day.

After a 6 months test with about 150 branded properties (Hilton, Marriott, Accor) as well as independent properties, the service will rapidly be extended to major North American and European cities and international travel hubs.

We are completely rethinking how spaces are made available during the day. Beewake, it’s time and space your way. We’re not only focusing on hotel rooms but also, meeting rooms, co-working spaces, airport lounges, offices (…) multi spaces and multi usages.

For hotels, Beewake appears to be a 100% incremental revenue tool that’s looking at the underutilized sleeping and meeting rooms with hotels’ partners usually experiencing a RevPAR increase up to 5%. Based on a recent internal study, it appears that guest rooms are occupied on average 15 hours out of 24 hours.

With a growing mobile workforce, the ability to book a daytime room instantly opens up a world of mobility for corporations that are seeking flexible arrangements and lower travel costs.
