Most changes to the summer schedule concern OA`s international network. More specifically, there will be nine non-stop weekly flights from Athens to New York, leaving at 11.50am and arriving at 5.35pm. Another two flights will depart from Athens at 5pm and arrive in New York at 10.45pm.
There will be four flights a week from Athens to Toronto and four to Montreal. Three weekly services will be offered on the Athens-Boston route.
As for OA`s flight schedule for Australia, proposed changes to which has raised the hackles of the country`s large Greek community, there will be three flights a week from Athens to Sydney. Two of these flights will allow for a transfer to Melbourne.
OA intends linking Athens with London Heathrow with three daily flights while there will be a daily flight from Thessaloniki to London Gatwick. The carrier is to fly from Athens to Paris twice a day.
There will be two non-stop daily flights from Athens to Frankfurt and a daily Thessaloniki-Frankfurt service. OA is to link Athens and Berlin with five flights a week while three will be offered from Thessaloniki.
The Italian connection will see three daily flights from Athens to Milan and three to Rome.
Recognising the rise in Russian tourist numbers, OA is to introduce four weekly flights from Athens to Moscow.
Meanwhile, it will be the only carrier offering a direct link between Athens and Dubai, on a daily basis. There will be three weekly flights to Amman from the Greek capital.
Among the new services to take to the skies will be Athens-Benghazi, Athens-Tehran and Athens-Manchester, all three times a week.
