Randy Christofferson and Pieter Rieder have joined StarCite as Executive Chairman and Senior Vice President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), respectively. Both executives will provide expert management and leadership for StarCite as it continues to expand and grow its brand worldwide.

As Executive Chairman, Randy Christofferson will oversee StarCite’s Board of Directors and play an integral role in setting the Company’s strategic direction. He currently serves in leadership positions at several firms that provide venture capital, business process outsourcing and Internet-based retail services, including MIOGA Ventures, LLC, IntelliRisk Management Corporation and FineStationery.com. Prior to joining these ventures, Randy was Chief Executive Officer of Walker Digital, an Internet business method invention and commercialization laboratory that is best known for creating Priceline.com. Randy also served as President, First USA, the largest Visa issuer in the world, and was a senior executive at American Express Company serving as President, Relationship Services and in other leadership positions. Before American Express, Randy was a Partner at the global strategy consulting firm, Bain & Company.
In his role as Senior Vice President, EMEA, Pieter Rieder will manage StarCite’s expanding European operations team and client base and will lead StarCite’s strategic growth, sales and partnerships in Europe. Before joining StarCite, Pieter was Vice President/General Manager, Business Development, for American Express Business Travel Europe, where he was responsible for the regional sales function, multinational sales and relationship management alignment, and sales effectiveness support functions. In this position, he redesigned the sales process, improved efficiency and significantly enhanced growth. Before this, he held several senior positions with Rosenbluth International, including Vice President, International Development, responsible for all locations outside the U.S. and Western Europe, where he led EMEA strategic new business initiatives and development from Rosenbluth’s European headquarters in London.
