The Travel Company announced the acquisition of SYNERGI, a network of business travel organisations with representation in 45 countries. This purchase follows a remarkable week in the business travel industry in which Dutch-owned BCD Holdings N.V. announced it had taken an ownership stake in UK-based The Travel Company and signed an agreement to acquire TUI`s business travel entities.
A loyal partner and shareholder of SYNERGI since 2001, The Travel Company purchased the successful network which, since its founding in 1992, has competed with many mega agencies and won strong multinational business. The Travel Company and its entire network remain committed to existing clients and will continue to provide the same superior quality and seamless service.

The Travel Company will completely abandon the SYNERGI brand and cease using the SYNERGI name in the market for providing or advertising travel management services. The new name going forward will be TTC Global Network.
