This year at World Travel Market Pembrokeshire was presented a new guide Holidays with your best friend’. The guide aimed at visitors who wish to bring their dog on holiday and features accommodation options and a dog services’ directory.
Among the partners of WTM stand at the World Travel Market 2001, Coastal Cottages presented 600 quality cottages based in Pembrokeshire, Britain’s only Coastal National Park. The selection ranges from Castles and lighthouses to traditional luxury cottages set on cliff tops overlooking the dramatic and beautiful coastline. Coastal Cottages will also be introducing a new village product that is to be launched in Wales nest Easter.
Another partner was Wales Wisdom and Walks’, which is Tourism South and West Wales’ newest project. It focuses on the Celtic and Christian heritage of Wales. Visitors can experience this heritage through visits to ancient sites, storytelling and guided tours.
On behalf of the National Assembly for Wales, Cadw: Welsh Historic Monyments manages some of the finest historic attractions in the world, which was also participated in World Travel Market 2001. These include the world Heritage Listed castles of Caernarfon, Conwy, Harlech and Beaumaris and Blaenavon Ironworks, one of Europe’s best-preserved 18th century ironworks, which was added to the list in 2000.
