Windsor, England and Stockholm, Sweden –
announced the expansion of its Global Partner Solutions(SM) programme
in Scandinavia, with the approval of the Active Commission(TM) service from
Net Trans Services AS. Galileo's Global Partner Solutions programme
promotes third party travel technology-related products and services that
augment and enhance Galileo's own product offerings throughout the world.
Net Trans' Active Commission(TM) service is an outsourced and complete
commission reconciliation and payment service, creating a single interface
between travel booking professionals and their suppliers. Combined with a
global financial transaction network, Active Commission offers increased
commission revenue, reduced banking and administration costs, and real-time,
dynamic business critical data.
To join the Galileo Global Partner Solutions programme, products and
services must meet established programme standards of quality, support,
service and value. Approval in the programme is based on fulfilment of
participation criteria including satisfactory surveys of the vendor's
customers. A key element of this review is the requirement that the product
or service meets local market needs.
"I am delighted that Net Trans has become a member of the Global Partner
Solutions programme. Its Active Commission service will be promoted to
Galileo customers throughout Scandinavia as a tool that can assist them in
efficient cost control in their day-to-day business," said Christina
Ngiam, general manager of Galileo Nordiska AB. "Galileo is
continually looking to enhance its product offerings to the Scandinavian
market, and the Global Partner Solutions programme allows us to provide our
customers with higher levels of customer-centric service and product
solutions."
"We are delighted to be joining Galileo's Global Partner Solutions
programme. Active Commission secures the non-air commission handling for
the travel agent, and this agreement is a milestone for us by having
Galileo's stamp of approval" said Trond Sorensen, CEO of Net
Trans Services AS. Galileo Nordiska AB distributes the Galileo(R) computer
reservation system throughout Sweden, Norway and Finland.
