Flyers lose twice more sleep than other travelers

Business travelers lose more than a full night’s sleep on week long trips.

Between jet-lag, trip planning stressors and remembering to pack, it feels like vacations are always impacting our beauty rest. Mattress Advisor's latest study surveyed over 1,000 Americans about traveling sleep suffers and how they deal with it.

Here’s what they found:

  • Flyers lose almost twice as much sleep as other travelers
  • Those traveling by plane lose nearly 6 hours of sleep on week long trips
  • Business travelers lose more than a full night’s sleep on week long trips
  • Flyers take around 2 days to get sleep back in order after returning home
