ISHAE 2015 Awards of Excellence announced

Award winners receive complimentary registration to a future ISHAE Conference.

BOSTON, MA – The International Society of Hotel Association Executives (ISHAE) awarded the 2015 Awards of Excellence at the 29th annual ISHAE Winter Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.

ISHAE presents the annual Awards of Excellence for the best lodging association programs and services. These programs and services are widely recognized as the “best of the best” within the hotel and lodging association industry representing innovation and creativity that has brought tangible results to the association and its members. Award winners receive complimentary registration to a future ISHAE Conference.

The winners of the Award of Excellence in each category include:

  • Communications: Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association for “Member/Voter Education Effort on Marijuana Legalization”
  • Events & Fundraising: California Hotel & Lodging Association for “California Hotel Owners Conference”
  • Government Affairs: Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association for “Statewide Room Tax Reform Accomplishment”
  • Member Programs: Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association for “New Member Orientation Program”
  • Membership: Texas Hotel & Lodging Association for “THLA Board of Directors & Committee Restructuring”
  • Public Relations: Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association for “Social Media Marketing Campaign”.

“ISHAE is pleased to recognize these six award winners,” stated Christina Pappas, Executive Director of ISHAE. “There were numerous entries all worthy of recognition, but the programs presented by the winners in these categories help set the standard for others to follow.”
