Kerrie Mather, CEO of fast-growing Australia-based airports group Macquarie Airports, is the latest big-name addition to a powerful programme for the second Trinity Forum to be held in London on 21-23 September. The event is being organised jointly by TFWA and The Moodie Report.

Ms Mather will present an airport investor`s perspective at the event, which is themed Thought Leadership. She joins a host of top names from the retail, brand and airport sectors as well as leading speakers from outside travel retail.

Travel retail speakers include:

Mark Riches, Managing Director World Duty Free and BAA Global Airport Retail and Chairman Global Airport Services; in a head-to-head debate on the merits of the airport-owned vs concessionaire-driven retail model Sunil Tuli, Group Director of Merchandising and Operations, King Power Group faces Randy Emch, Director, Global Airport Services; John Sutcliffe Aer Rianta International-Middle East Managing Director; Roberto Graziani, President and CEO of The Nuance Group; Enrique Urioste, CEO of InterBaires, and Susan Whelan, Deputy Managing Director, King Power International Group.

Pekka J. Helin, Senior Vice-President, Passenger Services, Silja Oy will present on the ferry and cruiseline sector while Harding Bros Chairman Barry Gibson, one of travel retail`s most influential figures in its 60-year history, will talk on `Revolution in Retail`.

Peter Eriksson, Head of Marketing & Real Estate, Unique (Flughafen Zurich) will address `How to make the Trinity live` and will be joined by Rainer Beeck, Senior Vice President, Corporate Real Estate Management, Munich Airport and Hans Bakker, Commercial Director, Airport Authority Hong Kong who will discuss the increasingly direct relationship between airports and brands.

Dr Yuwa Hedrick-Wong, Economic Advisor (Asia/Pacific), MasterCard International, will examine the impact of lifestyle and demographic changes on the Asian consumer. And the Marshall Lightfoot Co will show a two-part video documentary examining best practice in global travel retail.

In one of the event`s many highlights, two teams have been chosen to contest a Request for Proposals at a hypothetical airport (Atea City International) in which both sides have been encouraged to abandon traditional industry thinking and focus on ways to enhance the consumer experience and deliver long-term sustainable revenues. This was set for the Trinity Forum by industry expert and Project Taskmaster Alan Bork, Chairman of the Nordic Travel Retail Group and former Commercial Director at Copenhagen Airport.

Finally, Owens DDB, an associate company of one of the world`s leading advertising and communications agencies, will present on how they would brand and `sell` the industry globally.

A packed social agenda includes an opening cocktail, gala dinner and two lunches plus a late night bar on the middle evening. Courtesy of BAA an optional guided tour of London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 Airside Shopping is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Founder sponsors are Nestle International Travel Retail and P&G Beauty. King Power Group (Hong Kong) is sponsoring the opening cocktail and Luxottica the opening lunch.

TFWA CEO Andrew Ford and The Moodie Report Publisher and Managing Director Martin Moodie said: The Trinity Forum is not just another industry conference. It is all about how all the parties involved in the channel can collectively grow the business – not just financially but also in terms of the consumer experience. We think `Thought Leadership` delivers on those aspirations.
