Award for outstanding achievements in furthering business travel and meetings sustainability programmes.
PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Europe and Project ICARUS are proud to announce the winners of the first European Sustainability Outstanding Achievement Awards.
The awards recognise travel buyers, suppliers and intermediaries who can demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation and commitment to delivering best in class sustainability programmes, products and services across Europe.
“The quality of entries exceeded our expectation and clearly demonstrates that companies across Europe are seeing sustainable business travel and meetings programs as a sure way to optimize travel costs and generate a significant return on investment” said Bernard Harrop, Head of Sustainability Project ICARUS.

The winners were presented with their Project ICARUS bronze trophy at GBTA Europe, the annual conference held on Tuesday, September 24th at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
