Australian Airlines is to operate the first of its three weekly, non-stop flights between Singapore and Bali.

Also, on 30 July, Australian Airlines begins its weekly service between Singapore and Sabah.

These four services will more than double Australian Airlines` current schedule of three flights per week from Singapore to Cairns.

Australian Airlines Acting Chief Executive Officer Andrea Staines said the inaugural flights to Bali and Sabah had been well received.

We know Singaporeans love to travel and Australian Airlines has provided three popular holiday destinations to choose from – Bali, Sabah and Cairns, Ms Staines said.

Our flights to Bali depart Singapore on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays with a connecting flight to Sydney, she said.

Our weekly non-stop service to Sabah, which begins next Wednesday, provides the option of a holiday in Sabah itself or a stopover en route to Sydney.

Today also marks the inaugural Australian Airlines flight between Cairns and Sydney.

The connection is in direct response to passenger demand, Ms Staines said.

Whether flying non-stop to Cairns or Sydney via Bali or Sabah, Australian Airlines can connect you with six flights per week between Cairns and Sydney. Australian Airlines also offers daily flights between Cairns and the Gold Coast.
