Windsor Locks, CT – Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) Executive Director Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E. has been elected to the Board of Directors for Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA). As one of the leading trade associations representing airports in the U.S. and Canada, ACI-NA advocates for policies to strengthen all North American airports, promotes cooperation and the sharing of best practices between airports, and helps support route and capital development at all member airports.

ACI-NA is one of the most distinguished airport trade associations in the world, and I am honored to be able to serve on its Board of Directors with such strong leaders from across the country,” said Connecticut Airport Authority Executive Director Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E. “I believe that I will be able to offer unique insights from having served in positions at airports of all sizes over the past four decades, and I look forward to working with national airport leadership to promote policies that will strengthen air travel for passengers across the country.”

As the Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority, Dillon is responsible for overseeing Bradley International Airport and five general aviation airports in Connecticut (Danielson, Groton-New London, Hartford-Brainard, Waterbury-Oxford, and Windham). Dillon has spent over 35 years in leadership positions at airports across the country, including T.F. Green Airport, Orlando International Airport, Manchester-Boston Airport, Logan International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, and LaGuardia Airport. He also currently serves as a Board Member for both the MetroHartford Alliance and the Connecticut Convention and Sports Bureau. Dillon has been an active member of ACI-NA, serving on the organization’s Policy Review Committee and its Medium Hub Caucus.

ACI-NA’s mission is to advocate policies and provide services that strengthen the ability of airports to serve their passengers, customers, and communities,” said ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke. “Kevin’s immense experience in aviation management makes him a great addition to our industry leadership.  We look forward to working with Kevin and the Board to further advance airport priorities.”
