Cendant<.> Corporation`s Hotel Division announced the following appointments in connection with its reorganization.



Bob Weller, group president & chief executive officer, announced the appointment of Mark Young as group vice president, hotel services, to provide operational support to franchisees of the company`s Super 8, Wingate Inn, AmeriHost Inn, Knights Inn and Villager brands. He previously was Ramada vice president of operations.



Peter Strebel, senior vice president of marketing, announced the appointment of Jill Noblett as vice president, loyalty & direct marketing; Paula Drum as vice president, distribution & e-commerce; and Chris Trick as vice president, marketing services.



Noblett, who previously served as vice president, loyalty marketing, oversees the Loyalty & Direct Marketing department and is responsible for the company`s Enterprise Data Warehouse, all direct-marketing programs and hotel frequent-traveler programs, including a new multiple-brand program currently under development.



Drum, who formerly was corporate director, interactive marketing, oversees the Distribution & E-Commerce department and is responsible for implementing the division`s distribution strategy through electronic channels. Her department manages each hotel brand`s consumer Web site and franchise portal development, interactive marketing, distribution operations and distribution partnerships.



Trick, who was vice president of marketing for Cendant`s Howard Johnson hotel brand, now is responsible for advertising, creative services, marketing, promotions, partnership marketing and multicultural marketing and sales.



Russ Moserowitz, senior vice president, franchise services, announced the appointment of Annmarie Fairweather as vice president, franchise support; David Coffey as vice president, field services; and Bob Schadt as vice president, revenue enhancement.



Fairweather, who formerly served as director of franchise services for the company`s Days Inn brand, oversees the Franchise Support department and is responsible for ensuring Cendant`s hotel franchisees have access to all of the company`s resources. She also manages the Hotel Technology Services team, which serves as the liaison with the division`s Information Technology department regarding franchisee concerns.



Coffey, who was vice president, marketing information services, oversees the Field Services department and is responsible for supporting hotel openings and providing ongoing property-level field support across all hotel brands. Field Services is composed of three operational areas: new properties integration, advertising and promotions development for regional franchisee organizations and marketing operational support for individual properties.



Schadt, who formerly served as director, owner relations, oversees the Revenue Enhancement department and is responsible for helping franchisees boost revenue per available room. He also manages the Revenue Enhancement Reporting and Revenue Enhancement Services teams.



Doug Patterson, executive vice president & chief operating officer, announced the appointment of John Salvatore as vice president, retention, and Scot Montgomery as vice president, technology operations.



Salvatore, who formerly served as regional vice president of the company`s Villager brand and as a franchise sales director for its Days Inn, Ramada and Howard Johnson brands, is responsible for providing direct support to Cendant hotel franchisees and encouraging them to stay in the system.



Montgomery, who former was vice president for ArrivaOne Corp. in Jacksonville, Fla., serves as liaison with the Hotel Division`s Information Technology department, responsible for overseeing cross-functional capital projects.



Michael Kennedy, senior vice president & chief information officer, announced the appointment of Ron Bialkowski, vice president, applications development, and David Hisaw, vice president, technical operations.



Bialkowski, who previously was vice president, franchise information systems, is responsible for the systems development activities related to the division`s reservation systems and central business systems. He also manages development of distributed, or property-level, systems, including property management systems and certain Web-related activities.



Hisaw, who previously was vice president of technology & infrastructure for Purchasepro in Las Vegas, is responsible for technology-related operational functions within Cendant`s Hotel Information Technology department, including data center operations, technical support and distributed systems.



Laurie Vernam, who formerly was senior director of operations for the company`s Super 8 brand, was appointed vice president, quality assurance, responsible for overseeing the Hotel Division`s 100-person Quality Assurance department.
