Cornish Traditional Cottages opens first High Street office after 52 years

Longstanding Cornwall cottage company opens Wadebridge shop to increase visibility and reinforce its customer focused values.

Cornish Traditional Cottages opens its new office and very first shop front on Monday 29 February in High Street, Wadebridge, Cornwall. Cornwall’s longest established holiday cottage company seeks to increase its visibility within the Cornish community and with tourists to increase its portfolio of cottages throughout Cornwall and drive bookings from a broader audience.

George Edward-Collins, MD of Cornish Traditional Cottages, says: “Cornwall is a competitive marketplace and it isn’t enough to have an online presence anymore. Wadebridge is a hive of activity and as the major town for north coast holiday destinations our customers, both home owners and guests, are passing through all year round. To have an easily accessible and open door for new and existing customers fits naturally with our friendly and helpful ethos.”

Opting for a permanent high street presence, plus sticking to a Cornwall-only portfolio, is also intended to give the brand an edge over industry rivals who don’t have a county presence but do have a portfolio of Cornish cottages. Like so many who visit Cornwall year after year, Cornish Traditional Cottages extols the joys of the county’s bustling harbour towns, glassy bays, rugged surf and remote peninsula. But it does it with first hand experience and a genuine passion to help create holiday memories that ensure a return year after year.
