Full refurbishment upgrades hotel to Marriott brand’s newest standards.
EDISON, N.J. – Officials of the 149-room Courtyard Edison Woodbridge announced the completion of a $6 million renovation. To celebrate the event, the hotel hosted an open-to-the-public ribbon cutting ceremony on May 19, 2023, with Mayor Sam Joshi in attendance. The Courtyard is operated by Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based, private hotel investment, ownership and management company.
“With the completion of this top-to-bottom renovation, the hotel has achieved ‘like-new’ status to provide business and leisure travelers with the most up-to-date and requested amenities available within the segment,” said Brian Terry, general manager. “Our property also becomes one of the first hotels in the brand to upgrade to Courtyard by Marriott’s latest prototype standards, which include stylish modern décor and 55” flat-screen televisions with streaming access, to further meet guests’ needs. Every aspect of the hotel has been improved, both exterior and interior, including guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas. We are ready to welcome back guests and our community neighbors as we strive to become the go-to destination of choice for both the segment and market.”
Located at 3105 Woodbridge Ave., the Central New Jersey hotel is a short ride from Menlo Park and Woodbridge Center Malls, as well as the Raritan Center Business Park and the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center. It is also just 30 minutes outside of midtown Manhattan. With an ultra-contemporary, living room-like lobby, the hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, business center and nearly 1,300 square feet of flexible meeting space. Guests may enjoy dining at The Bistro, which offers a range of à la carte breakfast and dinner options, along with Starbucks coffee and a full evening cocktail bar. All hotel rooms feature comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs.
