In fall 2016, ahead of the 25th-anniversary celebrations planned for 2017, Golf Le Mirage will begin upgrading its golf courses.
TERREBONNE, QC – In honour of its 25th anniversary, Golf Le Mirage has announced that it will be making an important series of investments to upgrade its two exceptional golf courses, the Arizona and the Carolina, as well as update its guest reception facilities. This series of investments totalling more than two million dollars ($2,000,000) is an integral part of Golf Le Mirage's new 2017-2019 strategic plan.
"We are very pleased to announce these investments since Golf Le Mirage is already recognized as one of the best golf courses in Quebec and Canada. Naturally, we want to maintain its outstanding reputation. We also want to incorporate value-added features to Golf Le Mirage to make it the place of choice to celebrate milestones or present memorable shows", says Richard Laramee, Vice-chairman of the board.
In fall 2016, ahead of the 25th-anniversary celebrations planned for 2017, Golf Le Mirage will begin upgrading its golf courses. First, the sand traps on both courses will be rebuilt, then some of the greens will be stabilized and a new lake will be created to supply rain water for course irrigation. A new Callaway performance center, a unique facility in Quebec, will be added. Moreover, the existing reception tent will be updated, and a new one with a capacity of 400 built.
"All the members of the Golf Le Mirage team are excited by our new strategic plan, the investment announcement and the upcoming 25th-anniversary celebrations. Moving forward, we'll be even better equipped to offer all our members a stellar experience every time they visit us in the coming years. We'll also have greater means to organize events of exceptional quality all year round" says Rene Noel, General Manager of Golf Le Mirage.
