Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino appoints Ruthsela De Lannoy as Director of Catering and Events

Ruthsela De Lannoy joins Hilton Aruba with an abundance of knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry, as well as a strong leadership role in group business and events.

ORANJESTAD, ARUBA – Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, the 357-room resort situated on the largest beachfront stretch of Palm Beach, appoints Ruthsela De Lannoy as Director of Catering and Events.

De Lannoy joins Hilton Aruba with an abundance of knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry, as well as a strong leadership role in group business and events. Starting her career as a sales coordinator at Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, De Lannoy went on to hold multiple management positions at various Marriott Resorts & Hotels throughout the past 20 years. At Hilton Aruba, she’ll pair the high-quality standards Hilton guests are accustomed to with signature Aruba touches and charm. Her history with travelers from a mix of backgrounds also allows her to accommodate a variety of preferences and surpass her client’s expectations.

With proficiency in five languages, including, English, Dutch, Spanish, Papiamento and German, De Lannoy shows excellent communication skills and commitment. Earning ‘Manager of the Quarter’ on six different occasions, De Lannoy brings confidence and capability to her position, as well as a longstanding history of delivering unique experiences.

With more than 35,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor available space, Hilton Aruba holds events small and large, from group meetings and events to weddings and private parties. For events of all sizes, catering services are provided by the chef-driven property concepts, including Sunset Grille, Gilligan’s Seafood Shack, Laguna Restaurant and more, ensuring that food and beverage requests, from gourmet to casual dining, are met. De Lannoy will oversee the dedicated event coordinators and catering team, with the goal of serving more families, couples and businesses in creating memorable events on property.
