Interstate Hotels & Resorts announces new European hotels signed and opened

Interstate adds to global footprint with hotels in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

ARLINGTON, VA. – Interstate Hotels & Resorts announces eight new hotels recently opened or signed in growing European and CIS markets, including the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belarus and Kazakhstan, all under top international franchise brands. The new additions to the portfolio further emphasize Interstate’s global knowledge and unmatched brand variety worldwide, leading the hotel sector with an incomparable level of global diversity, managing a standard of hotels unattained by other independent management companies.

With established scale and operating platforms throughout the region, Interstate has expanded its footprint to include hotels in new markets in Eastern Europe and the CIS, including:

  • 133-room Courtyard Sarajevo and 70-room Residence Inn Sarajevo; the only internationally branded hotels in Bosnia & Herzegovina upon opening in 2015
  • 267-room Renaissance Minsk Hotel, Belarus; recently opened
  • 271-room Marriott Astana Hotel, Kazakhstan; recently opened
  • 100-room Holiday Inn Express Folkestone-Channel Tunnel, UK
  • 204-room Holiday Inn Express London Excel, UK; anticipated to open in early 2015
  • 120-room Holiday Inn Amsterdam-Arena Towers and 323-room Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam-Arena Towers, the Netherlands; recently opened.
