The infamous international Les Clefs d`Or<.> conference will make its appearance in Greece again, following an absence of some 35 years. At this year`s Doorman and Reception Service Union`s celebration, which was held last week, and where officials sliced the traditional New Year`s cake, President Manolis Vrettos announced that the 49th annual Les Clefs d`Or conference will be held in Athens between February 9-14, 2001 and host some 600 participants from various parts all over the world. Vrettos told reporters that the purpose of the conference is to introduce and give all the foreign participants a little bit of Greek hospitality, but at the same time exhibit to them the priceless culture and heritage of this country so that they can return to their nations with the best of impressions.
