NEW YORK – Lynne Davis & Co, PR, Marketing, Representation, is delighted to welcome HUB Porteno, Buenos Aires, Argentina to her collection.

HUB Porteno is a luxury boutique hotel with a difference. Opened in October 2012 on one of Recoleta’s most elegant streets, the group of Argentine entrepreneurs behind HUB Porteno wanted to create the kind of place they dreamt of staying when traveling: intimate surroundings, unique, locally-sourced design and a host that was the best in town, and could connect them with people and events in the city that they could never access alone. Helped by a team of Ivy-League university professors and Liberal Arts experts, and armed with one of the best black-books in Argentina, this is exactly what founder/host Gonzalo Robredo, crafting unparalleled experiences tailor-made to each client’s interests, has led the hotel to be described as ‘The Ultimate Insider’s Club’.

The hotel is an 11 room, all-suite palatial retreat in a converted private mansion on one of the most elegant blocks in Buenos Aires, designed to encapsulate the elegance of Buenos Aires’s Belle-Epoque era. Designed like the private home of former owner and bon-vivant Lalo Palacio, each room is individually decorated with hand-crafted pieces from highly skilled Argentine artisans, antiques and a priceless collection of Argentine artwork. (This is provided in part by one of the owners, Alejandro Bengolea, who is the grandson of Argentina’s most famous Patron to the Arts, Amalia Lacroze Fortabat). Alongside in-house restaurant Tarquino, HUB Porteno features a library bar serving signature cocktails, two elegant living rooms, a gym, spa and garden oasis on the roof terrace, complete with Missoni-esque loungers and a cocktail bar.

For travelers who are looking for the next level in experience, HUB Porteno’s team tailor itineraries to specific interests, replacing traditional tour guides with the most interesting of contemporary experts who are truly passionate about their specific field, be it architecture, politics, the Belle-Epoque, art literature or the gaucho/ polo. Guests have the run of Buenos Aires at its best, with a chauffeur on hand, dining included at the city’s top restaurants and access to the best private events. HUB Porteno’s gourmet restaurant, Tarquino, is spear-heading a new movement of Argentine cuisine, la nueva cocina argentina, and was featured in the New York Times Bites section.
