Marriott representatives visited the Dodecanese resort last week and met local hoteliers to discuss possible expansion of the chain to Rhodes. The company does not intent to purchase or renovate a hotel but undertake the operation of a luxury unit.
It is not known whether the Marriott has come to a decision.
