Max Brown Hotel is now open in the heart of Milan

Adding an Italian touch: Max Brown Missori welcomes guests with playful design, artistic flair, and a vibrant public space.

Following the exciting announcement of Max Brown Hotels expanding to Italy, Max Brown Missori is now officially open to invite guests to stay in the heart of Milan. With this addition,
Max Brown Hotels currently operates six properties across five European cities including Amsterdam, Vienna, Düsseldorf, Berlin and Milan – and continues to grow under the boutique hospitality group, Sircle Collection.

Max Brown Missori offers 64 guest rooms, ranging from the cozy “tiny” to the expansive “extra large” all designed to provide a harmonious blend of comfort and playful aesthetics at an exceptional value. The interior has undergone a stylish refurbishment by Amsterdam-based interior designer Saar Zafrir and Sircle Collection‘s in-house design team. It features a hint of 70’s-inspired design and incorporates handpicked vintage items. The use of retro patterns, natural materials like wood and stone, and warm tones of chestnut brown and orange not only contribute to the visual appeal, but also ensure a balance between vintage charm and contemporary design. The space also proudly showcases the talents of local artists, including Emanuele Napolitano, Rossano Liberatore, and Enrico Nagel.

On the ground floor, Max Brown Missori is thoughtfully arranged as a dynamic exhibition space. Here, a rotating selection of art installations invites guests to explore and discover the works of new and exciting local artists in Milan. Currently displayed are specially selected works from the private collection of the Palazzo Monti artist residency, featuring artists such as Jean-François Le Minh and Ricardo Partida. This exhibition will be available until the end of March. The vibrant public area not only functions as a hub for the city's artistic community but also offers guests a glimpse into the rich and lively art scene of Milan. Moreover, the hotel features a refurbished bar that’s open all day, adding an extra touch of charm and sophistication to the communal space.

Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, the hotel’s communal area transforms into a lively gathering space. Guests can connect, unwind, or work all within this space. The hotel is also ideally
situated near the famous Duomo, within walking distance of the Guastalla Gardens and the historic Torre Velasca, immersing guests in Milan’s rich heritage just steps from their doorstep.

Andrea Piantanida, Cluster General Manager of Max Brown Missori, says “As a recent addition to the Max Brown family, I am thrilled to kick off 2024 with the opening of the first Max Brown hotel in Italy. Max Brown Missori breathes all that Max Brown stands for, a playful and charming home for travelers keen to experience city-living like a local. I’m looking forward to leading our passionate team, who are not just here to provide service, but to create moments that resonate with our guests.”
