New menu items, re-imagined lobby tempt travelers to stay at Courtyard Los Angeles Torrance/Palos Verdes

Hotel near LA encourages guests to relax in modern welcome center, dine at restaurant with upgraded tableware and furnishings.

TORRANCE, CALIF. – Courtyard Los Angeles Torrance/Palos Verdes is proud to spotlight its reinvented lobby and restaurant while giving visitors an extra perk this holiday season.

The Torrance hotel is offering its Live the SoCal Dream Package for Marriott Rewards members who are looking to celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas or any winter day in the Southern California sun from now until May 31, 2018. The deal includes deluxe accommodations plus 1,000 bonus points for visitors who book at least two nights any day of the week. Travelers who book at least two nights on a Thursday through Sunday – with a Friday or Saturday stay required – will enjoy an additional 10% off the best available rate.

The entire lobby of the hotel exudes comfort and convenience from the moment guests arrive. Welcome pedestals provide a personalized check-in process, and several cozy sitting areas encourage lounging, socializing and working in style.

The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect. also received a makeover. With upgraded tableware and new furnishings, the casual eatery provides a comfortable place for Torrance visitors and locals to savor breakfast, dinner and happy hour cocktails. The Bistro now serves as the cornerstone of the hotel's welcome center whether diners are fueling up for an adventurous day, hosting an informal meeting over a hearty meal or simply unwinding any time with a cup of Starbucks® coffee.

Four seasonal items have been added to The Bistro's menu with an emphasis on serving dishes made from fresh ingredients to change the way diners think about hotel meals.

While visitors can still grab a bite and head out to explore nearby Palos Verdes Peninsula or watch a football game at the StubHub Center, The Bistro is no longer just a place to pick up a meal and go. It's now a comfortable haven where guests can connect with family members or swap stories with colleagues over a savory cocktail from the full bar. Travelers can enjoy socializing in a warm, inviting ambiance created by tranquil music and stylish new furnishings.

"We decided to change The Bistro for one reason," said General Manager David Zimmerman. "We didn't want to offer a place to simply pick up a meal. We wanted a sophisticated spot where guests can enjoy spending time with others. We sought to provide a space where they can connect, engage and enjoy being around each other, not just eat and take off."

To put more emphasis on that stay-and-dine experience, plain glassware and tableware have been replaced by more contemporary, polished counterparts.

Visitors can sample The Bistro's seasonal offerings now while scoring additional perks.
