The Puro group has lots to celebrate this summer. In addition to the upcoming opening of PuroBeach Marbella has just gotten off the ground – literally. Through a cooperation with Nordic Airways, PuroPlane, is now in the air.
The body of the sleek MD-81 airplane features the logo of PuroBeach and the tail carries Puro`s emblematic flower. Mats Wahlstrom, Founder and Proprietor of the Puro properties, describes the initiative: I see it as a fun way to market Puro hotel and the two PuroBeach locations. We get exposure all over Europe, and show that we are just a short flight away. In the future we hope we will be able to bring a new concept to the interiors and cabin model as well.
The first flight was made on May 25 on the Stockholm-Palma route. Since then, the aircraft has operated to Barcelona, Palermo, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, Tallin, Paris, London, Rhodes, Berlin and Zurich. As of today, the PuroPlane will be based in Palma for flights to Germany and Scandinavia.
