Both the Ramada International and Treff Hotel teams have worked hard to convert the first 17 hotels in 90 days. The first hotel, the Ramada-Treff Plaza Hotel Kassel, was converted on November 7. It is the first Ramada Plaza hotel in Europe. Plaza is Ramada International`s upper-tier lodging product, offering more luxurious amenities than the standard Ramada International hotel.

All of the converted hotels have been refurbished to bring the properties in Treff`s current lodging system in line with Ramada International`s guest services and security standards.

All Ramada-Treff hotel rates are listed in MARSHA, Marriott`s central reservations system, in Euros. It is Marriott International`s goal to quote room rates in Euros for all Marriott-branded hotels in the European Monetary Union (EMU).
