SkyRun Vacation Rentals adds milestone 25th location

SkyRun has experienced 40% annual revenue growth for the 5th consecutive year.

DENVER – SkyRun Vacation Rentals has reached a milestone by adding their 25th location. SkyRun announces three new locations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach Florida. Barry Cox, CEO and co-founder of SkyRun, says, "We've been adding 3 or 4 new locations every year since we started licensing and franchising locations in 2009." Currently, SkyRun has locations in 9 US states and three countries which represents a total of 600 vacation homes providing over 20,000 vacation home rentals each year. SkyRun greets 100,000 guests annually making SkyRun one of the largest Vacation Rental Property Managers in the world.

Industry Analyst Phocuswrite analyzes the 'private accommodation market' in which vacation rental companies like Airbnb, VRBO, and SkyRun operate. Phocuswrite expects the private accommodation market to be $36.6B in 2018 representing an industry growth rate of 11% or twice the growth rate of the total US travel market. Cox shares an impressive stat that, "most of our SkyRun locations are growing rapidly, which has enabled revenue growth of 40% annually for each of the last five years; this is 4x the average industry rate for a sustained period."

Steve Falk (co-founder of SkyRun and owner of 7 SkyRun locations) has capitalized on this lucrative market. He believes that "the Vacation Rental Market is sizzling hot and with our SkyRun systems and the national reach of our marketing, local folks in local markets can leverage SkyRun's momentum… This 'best of both' approach provides us with a tremendous competitive advantage in starting these new locations, and ultimately a huge competitive advantage for local entrepreneurs wanting to start a vacation rental business as their own SkyRun location."
