WoodSpring Suites grows presence in Greater Indianapolis

Extended-stay brand opens fifth hotel near Hoosier State Capital.

ROCKVILLE, MD. – Choice Hotels International, Inc., in collaboration with Loftus Robinson, announced the opening of the WoodSpring Suites Indianapolis – Zionsville. Located at 6007 Perry Worth Road, the new hotel is the fifth WoodSpring Suites hotel to open in the growing Indianapolis region.

"As one of the nation's largest metropolitan areas, Indianapolis has benefitted from consistent growth and a diverse economic landscape, which has helped fuel extended-stay demand and created ample opportunity for WoodSpring development," said Ralph Thiergart, vice president and general manager, extended stay brands, Choice Hotels. "The opening of the WoodSpring Suites Indianapolis – Zionsville is an important component of our Midwest expansion strategy, which is experiencing some of the strongest growth in the country. We can't wait to deliver another outstanding extended-stay product to the region."

The four-story, 122-room extended-stay hotel is conveniently situated near the North American headquarters of Festool, a global power tool company; LIDs, a nationwide apparel company; as well as the local offices of AmerisourceBergen, FedEx, and Witham Health Services. It is also close to one of the largest Amazon fulfillment centers in the country, and the future home of one of the Little League Baseball regional headquarters. As with all WoodSpring Suites hotels, each guestroom suite features an in-room kitchen equipped with a full-size refrigerator. The WoodSpring Suites Indianapolis – Zionsville hotel also offers deluxe king suites and includes an expanded lobby with a coffee station, guest laundry room, a fitness center, and free Wi-Fi.

The WoodSpring Suites Indianapolis – Zionsville was developed by Loftus Robinson, an Indianapolis-based real estate company. The hotel marks the first WoodSpring Suites to join their portfolio.

"Choice Hotels has been an incredible collaborator, and we're thrilled to team with them to accommodate the region's growing need for extended-stay accommodations by adding this proven brand to our portfolio. The WoodSpring Suites Indianapolis – Zionsville will welcome longer-term travelers, who will be proud to call it their temporary home," said Dale Johns, principal developer, Loftus Robinson.
