7th Annual Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange opens in Barbados

NEW YORK – Questex Travel Group opened its seventh annual Caribbean Meeting and Incentive Travel Exchange (CMITE) yesterday at the exquisite Hilton Barbados Resort, in beautiful Bridgetown, Barbados during their 50th anniversary of independence. 

CMITE, held in partnership with SITE, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence, brings fully hosted North American meeting planners and incentive buyers together with Caribbean suppliers for two and a half days of exclusive networking opportunities and prescheduled one-to-one meetings in private suites.

New to the event this year will be a special education session presented by Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Jessie States, manager of professional development for MPI presented “Meetings Outlook: A Deep Dive into the Latest Business” on Wednesday, August 31 where she reviewed the forecast for events in the coming year, including budget, attendance, and business conditions; delve into trends that matter, and discuss with the audience how they will affect their future meetings.
