Aeroflot ‘s new on-board Autumn-Winter menu

Recipes for the fall-winter menu were developed by a world-class team of professionals. This time, LSG Sky Chefs chief-cooker Thierry Mona, already familiar to Aeroflot’s passengers, was joined by Giacomo Lombardi, brand-chef of "Carlson" restaurant.

MOSCOW – Starting from October 1st, 2013, a new on-board menu is available for Business Class passengers on international and domestic flights of Aeroflot.

Recipes for the fall-winter menu were developed by a world-class team of professionals. This time, LSG Sky Chefs chief-cooker Thierry Mona, already familiar to Aeroflot’s passengers, was joined by Giacomo Lombardi, brand-chef of “Carlson” restaurant (“Ginza project” holding) and Sergei Sushchenko, brand-chef of “Chayhona ?1” restaurant project, in order to create new culinary delights.

Giacomo Lombardi, a silver medalist of Berlin “Chefs Olympics”, is faithful to his native Tuscan cuisine which gives priority to authentic products and seeks to bring out their natural flavor. He offered Aeroflot passengers to try duck confit with Sardinian Fregola pasta and berry sauce, and beef medallion with roasted potatoes under penny bun and truffle sauce.

An enthusiastic collector of recipes from around the world and a master of unusual gastronomic fusions, Sergei Sushchenko introduced new culinary trends – such as baked lamb “Buglama” with eggplant, tomato, raisins and pomegranate sauce, and his original pumpkin soup with sunflower seeds and croutons.

Exquisite and light desserts were once again created according to exclusive recipes of Kamel Benamar – the celebrity chef of “Bolshoi” and “Vanilla” restaurants of Arkady Novikov Group. French master offered to business class passengers mango mousse with raspberry and panna cotta with strawberries.
