New bureau created to boost Morocco’s Mice offering

Morocco is fast becoming an increasingly desirable prospect as a MICE destination thanks to the quality of its hotel and conferencing facilities, its close proximity to the UK – only three hours from London as well as its stunning scenery and year-round sunshine.

To help boost this growing sector the Moroccan Convention Bureau has just been created to help strengthen and raise awareness of Morocco’s MICE offering.

As well as building a strong MICE brand internationally, the new Bureau also aims to centralise Morocco’s MICE competencies and provide structure for the sector. By bringing together all stakeholders and pooling efforts, greater synergy will be achieved and an effective MICE industry established. It will also be able to offer impartial assistance and advice to event organisers and professional associations and help them choose the ideal Moroccan city to hold their event based on their needs and objectives.

Mr Ali El Kasmi, Director of the Moroccan National Tourist Office UK says, “The creation of this new Moroccan Convention Bureau will help to focus everyone’s efforts toward a common goal. Morocco has a competitive MICE industry and a great deal to offer organisations, large and small as well as their delegates.”
