Airport Lounge Development Inc. expands its lounge network to nine

'The Club at SEA' offers expanded lounge access to passengers traveling through the Pacific Northwest.

SEATTLE – Airport Lounge Development Inc. (ALD), the leading U.S. independent shared-use lounge developer, announced the addition of two new club lounges to its portfolio, The Club at SEA (concourse A ) and The Club at SEA (south satellite), both located at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). ALD’s network now includes nine clubs available to all travelers regardless of airline, class of service or affinity membership. These additions further illustrate ALD’s commitment to continued expansion in the U.S.

ALD will also offer SEA travelers a more affordable option for lounge access. Priority Pass, Priority Pass Select and Lounge Club Members are all welcome with their existing memberships. Those without memberships can purchase day passes online or in the club.

Transfer assistance will be provided to and from The Club at SEA locations in concourse A and in the south satellite. Each lounge has more than 4,000 square-feet and features a variety of settings including social spaces, areas for dining or cocktails and quiet zones to relax or conduct business. Lounge customers have access to a variety of amenities including complimentary snacks and beverages, high-speed Wi-Fi, bar service and workstations with printers.

“As one of the fastest growing large hub airports in the U.S., Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is an ideal addition to our lounge network. With nearly 37.5 million passengers in 2014, it’s a high-traffic gateway for business, leisure and cruise travelers,” said Nancy Knipp, senior vice president of ALD. “There continues to be increasing demand for a more inclusive airport lounge experience. As a result, the number of airports implementing and reviewing options for independent shared-use lounges has grown tremendously, especially as it becomes more difficult and expensive to access airline lounges.”

The Club at SEA is located in concourse A, across from Gate A11, open daily from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and in the south satellite next to Gate S9 and will be open daily 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“We are excited to partner with ALD to bring their network and experience with lounge management at airports across the U.S. to serve and accommodate our airport’s growing passenger levels,” said Susan Goodspeed, passenger experience program manager at Sea-Tac Airport. “Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for both leisure and business travelers.”

ALD’s seven other lounges include: The Club at CVG at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport; The Club at DFW, located in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport; The Club at LAS in Terminals 1 and 3 in Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport; The Club at SJC, located in Mineta San Jose International Airport; The Club at ATL, located in the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and The Club at PHX, located in the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

All clubs offer an all-inclusive, affordable and hospitable airport lounge experience before, during or after the travel journey.
