The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) is pleased to inform members of the trade that we are organizing the 3rd International Conference on Muslim Tourism, Hajj and Umrah (InCoMTHU ’09) on Thursday, 14 May 2009 at the Dewan Tun Dr Ismail ‘B’, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur. The theme of the Conference is "Moving towards borderless Muslim tourism" and is organized to support and develop Muslim tourism industry.
The Conference aims to present updates and challenges in managing Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage travel and to explore and discuss business opportunities in the development of Muslim tourism, not only within the Muslim countries but also with non-Muslim countries.
The Conference will also explore the ways and means to position Malaysia as the World’s No. 1 Muslim Tourists’ destination, with the support of Tourism Malaysia.
