Discover the World has been selected to handle sales and marketing for Air New Zealand in Indonesia because the airline will launch new service between Auckland and Denpasar, Bali in June 2012. Discover currently represents Air New Zealand in France, Greece, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, South Korea and Spain.
"We chose to work with Discover to take care of our outbound sales from Indonesia as well as local customer service for our inbound passengers arriving from New Zealand," said Peter Walsh, manager Pacific Islands for Air New Zealand. "A mutual trust has developed between our two companies because of our existing partnership. We rely on them to deliver professional quality services and generate great results for us."
"We couldn’t be more pleased that our relationship with this excellent airline continues to grow," said Jenny Adams, CEO of Discover the World Marketing. "Discover will operate an office in Denpasar, which will provide customer service to Air New Zealand’s customers staying in Bali as well as providing off-line sales representation for the entire Republic of Indonesia with a sales and ticketing office located in Jakarta, the capital city."
The new Air New Zealand seasonal service between Auckland and Denpasar will be operated with B-767-300s and fly twice a week from Auckland on Tuesdays and Saturdays and return from Denpasar Wednesdays and Sundays over the peak demand period of June to October. The first flight will depart Auckland on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
