Budapest Airport celebrated the launch of UTair’s direct service from St Petersburg, Russia on Sunday, April 28th. The inaugural Boeing 737-500 aircraft from Russia’s second largest city arrived in Budapest, marking the start of a year round, twice weekly direct service between the two cities. The inauguration was marked with a celebratory cake.

It is likely to prove highly attractive to a great many travellers,” said Kam Jandu, Director of Aviation at Budapest Airport.
