CCRA's Winter & Travel Trends Report: Paris among Top5 international holiday destinations

CCRA announces the top trending cities for winter and holiday travel in the U.S. and abroad, based on travel agent hotel bookings. The Top5 International Cities for winter holiday travel are Rome (Italy), Sydney (Australia), Paris (France), Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Cancun (Mexico).

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – CCRA Travel Commerce Network – a global hub for travel technology, marketing, accreditation and education – today announced 2015/16 winter and holiday destination trending based on bookings made by travel agents via the CCRAtravel.com hotel booking engine. The top ten domestic and international cities booked by travel professionals through CCRA’s hotel booking engine during the winter travel season are listed below. Additionally, the top 5 U.S. and international destinations for hotel stays between December 19th through January 10th forecast where U.S. consumers are traveling during the busy Christmas and New Year’s Eve holiday weeks, and Paris is included as one of CCRA’s newly trending international holiday travel destinations.

Below are the list of cities, in descending order, which have received the greatest number of hotel bookings for arrivals between December 21, 2015 and March 18, 2016. A NEW designation indicates that the city is new to CCRA’s top trending destination list compared to hotel bookings made during the same winter travel periods in 2014/2015:
