Celestyal Cruises launches first-of-its-kind “All-Inclusive” Cuba cruise

Celestyal Cruises’ enhanced Cuba Cruise now features 7-day sailings, including its cruise program to amazing ports in Cuba, shore excursions, unlimited bar & beverage package, taxes, port charges and gratuities.

Cuba Cruise by Celestyal Cruises introduce the first-of-its-kind, all-inclusive cruise program to Cuba. The cruise program features authentically rich and immersive shore excursions that showcase “The Real Cuba” in the signature Celestyal Cruises way. It also includes unlimited bar & beverage package, taxes, port charges and gratuities. Sailing aboard the 1,200-passenger Celestyal Crystal on a stellar seven-day cruise, travelers will experience the best of Cuba with an in-depth stay in Havana and visits to five other exceptional ports of call including: Cienfuegos, Maria La Gorda, Santiago de Cuba and Montego Bay, Jamaica. While on board the classic Celestyal Crystal, passengers will dine on freshly-prepared international and Cuban dishes and enjoy authentic Cuban entertainment.

Cuba Cruise by Celestyal Cruises, now in its third year of sailing to Cuba, includes the most Cuban ports of call on a single itinerary including many of this fantastic island’s hidden gems. The 2015-2016 season features a 7-day cruise program that includes two full days in Cuba’s vibrant capital, Havana, and a brand new call at Maria La Gorda situated along the country’s western tip. Additional Cuban calls include the charismatic Cienfuegos, an 18th-century fortress; and historic Santiago de Cuba, capital of the Spanish colony of Cuba from 1522 until 1589. Travelers can embark either in Havana, Cuba or in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Experiential shore excursions at each port of call cater to diverse interests and offer numerous activities to Cuba Cruise travelers, from cultural tours and opportunities to get to know the people of Cuba to lively musical performances, culinary experiences and outdoor adventures. For guests embarking from Havana, the following shore excursions are included in the price of the cruise:

  • Havana City Tour (Havana)
  • Cabo de San Antonio (Maria la Gorda)
  • Cienfuegos City Tour (Cienfuegos)
  • Greenwood Great House and Historic Falmouth (Montego Bay)
  • Panoramic Santiago (Santiago de Cuba)

Celestyal’s Cuba Cruise experience artfully presents Cuban culture both on the ship and ashore. Guests enjoy interacting with local Cubans, dining in local restaurants, visiting working plantations and cigar factories, and exploring the rich architecture and biodiversity of the island. Additional shore excursions at each port of call are available for purchase onboard.

“The Celestyal Cruises family welcomes a new era of Cuba Cruise this year, our third season cruising to Cuba, with the launch of our brand new all-inclusive program,” said Pythagoras Nagos, Celestyal Cruises’ Vice President of Sales. “Cuba Cruise is the best and most economical way to experience Cuba’s historical highlights, natural beauty, lively music and vibrant pulse of the entire island and its wonderful people, all provided to our passengers with a single, seamless itinerary. We are proud to offer an authentic Cuba travel experience to our guests as we continue to enhance our product, which we believe is the unchallenged value-for-money cruise to the best of Cuba.”

It’s never been easier for Americans to visit Cuba. The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has introduced new general licenses within 12 categories of authorized travel to Cuba that require no formal application, prior permission, nor post trip report to U.S. officials. Cuba Cruise now welcomes Americans on board by offering two easy ways to travel: book a comprehensive program with a U.S. tour operator partner, like Road Scholar, InsightCuba, Globus, and Central Holidays or book directly with Cuba Cruise and register for a People-to-People Cuba Cruise program with U.S. non-profit organization Fund for Reconciliation and Development (FFRD).
